Thieves; Your Spring Staple

To someone who has not yet heard of Young Living's Thieves oil, the name may seem a bit odd. You're probably thinking... "Thieves? Like burglars and robbers? Why on earth would they name an oil after them?" At least that's what was going through my mind when I first heard of it! But this blend of oils is unlike any other. The wide array of uses associated with Thieves are priceless and a far healthier substitute for those of us that hate having harsh chemicals in our homes. Not to mention it supports boosting a healthy immune system AND a clean home. Keep reading to see how you can be clean inside and out...

The beautifully spicy mixture of Clove, Lemon, Cinammon, Eucalyptus Radiata, and Rosemary danced across the room when I began using this oil in our diffuser. Jonah had come down with an awful head cold and I sprang into oily action! Just four drops did the trick, and not only were we cleaning the air and ridding it of all the germies, but it smelled better than most candles I have purchased in the past. Not to mention, I didn't get whatever cold he had afterwards... my immune system was so ready with Thieves!

Yes you read that correctly... you can even support your immune system from the inside out. Add Thieves to a hot cup of tea or a capsule to get even more of its benefits! That is where Young Living's Vitality line comes in. Any oil you see in these white seals are also capable of being ingested. I've seen Thieves added into tea, stirred in with home made cough drops, and in toothpaste! You can see Young Living's Thieves toothpaste here

One of the biggest uses for Thieves is to integrate it with your everyday cleaning. Substituting all those toxic chemicals with Thieves limits you and your family's exposure to potentially hazardous materials. You can either make your own mix using Thieves and Lemon oil yourself or you can purchase Young Living’s line of Thieves cleaner on their website here. I just ordered my first bottle of Thieves and can’t wait to start using it in our new apartment. Talk about a fresh start!

What you can do if you’d just like to test Thieves out is order a Premium Starter Kit and a sample will come with it! If you’re a kombucha drinker, Health Ade’s bottles are fantastic to reuse and recycle! Just peel the label off, pour in your Thieves cleaner (being sure to follow dilution instructions, of course) and you can screw on a spray top to this bottle! Saves you money AND exposure to toxic chemicals, so it’s a win/win. Or you could always go to Young Living’s website and order the packets or products by themselves, although you won’t be getting the wholesale price you would with membership- and believe me, membership  is so worth it!

Thieves cleaner can be used in place of your dish soap, laundry detergent, countertop cleaner, bathroom cleaner and so much more. Say goodbye to all the different products you’re spending so much money on at the stores!

Let me know in the comments below if you have used Thieves to clean or help your immune system out, I’d love to hear it! If you are looking to get your Premium Starter Kit, head over to their website, hit the “Become A Member” link at the upper right hand part of the screen, and you can put in my enroller ID so they know who referred you to the awesome company Young Living is!

All the best in your Spring Cleaning endeavors,

Kels
